Image

The best quality for upscaling videos up to 8K.
Until now, there was no way to perfectly recreate high-resolution video from low-resolution footage. From old home movies to low-quality SD or DVD quality and more, Video Enhance AI will transform your videos into clean, enhanced images with up to 8K resolution.

Image upscaling up to 8K
Video Enhance AI is the perfect way to take good images and enhance them. Have you ever wanted your images to look sharper and with more details? Take HD images up to 8K for use in high-quality projects. This model is perfect for use in:

– DVD content
– DSLR footage
– Game footage
– HD footage

Restoration of low quality footage
With Video Enhance AI, you can take your footage from SD to HD with an incredible increase in quality. This model is perfect for old footage that you want to repurpose for modern use. Older images like:

– Home movies
– Commercial
– Music videos
– Movie content
– Youtube videos

Quality
Until now, there was no deep learning-based approach to video upscaling as a commercial product. Video Enhance AI is the only product that uses machine learning to extrapolate details from your footage for a realistic look. The output quality of Video Enhance AI is simply better than any other product available.

Training
Video Enhance AI was trained using a neural network that analyzes thousands of pairs of videos to learn how details are typically lost. Unlike Gigapixel AI for stills, Video Enhance AI can extrapolate more details for an even more realistic look given the amount of information available in a single video clip.

Easy to use
With just a few clicks of a button, your video footage will begin rendering to create beautiful, high-resolution quality footage. There are no complicated processes or confusing tools – just a few simple steps and your footage will be ready to go.

What is the minimum hardware requirement for Video Enhance AI?
We suggest you run Video Enhance AI on high-end Nvidia graphics cards. The minimum requirement is GTX 1050 with 4 GB of VRAM. Any graphics card later/better than the GTX 1080 (included) will do a pretty quick job. If you don’t have an Nvidia graphics card in your device, the software can run on your Intel iGPU. Typically, it will be 5 times slower. If you don’t have an Intel iGPU, the software will eventually fall back on your CPU, which can be 10 times slower than the Nvidia GPU version.

Changelog since 3.5.4:
Comparison Views – Apply different filters to Views 1 and 2 to compare them. Freely switch between reviewing input clips and previews to find the best possible settings for your video.
Preview History: Previews are tracked based on filter settings and displayed grouped on the video timeline.
Zoomable Timeline: Take advantage of the timeline’s zoom controls to focus on smaller areas of a large video.
Trim In/Out – Replaced the “trim” editing mode with a trim in/out option comparable to other video editing apps.
Updated user interface and filter icons – more detailed and informative display.
Nyx v2: improves results and 2x scaling mode.
Significant performance improvements for the in-app video player.
Trimming controls moved to the video input panel.

Known issues:
Some users may see slight "stuttering" while playing rendered previews. This depends on the file and does not affect the output videos.
Cropped videos will display full input dimensions during Preview, but the Crop settings applied will be applied to Exports.
Currently, not all models support Intel ARC (model support will be added week by week).
Videos with mismatched metadata and streams will display the wrong duration.
Using Telecine mode may cause a discrepancy in playback over time. This will be addressed in a future version.
The alternating black and white is causing a color change in the image sequence output.
