Overview:When I was eight years old my parents moved from Marlin, Texas to Panama and worked for the Panama Canal Company. The Canal Zone was a ten by fifty mile strip of land that was owned by the US government. It had US schools, courts, police and hospitals. It was a small piece of the US carved out of the jungles of Panama.
It was a tropical paradise and as a kid, it was a magical place in which to grow up. When I wasn’t in school I was either swimming, skin diving, fishing or in the jungle panning for gold and exploring.
When I graduated from Balboa High School, I enter Texas A&M. At that time it was a college. In the middle of my junior year I walked away from my classes and joined the Army. After basic and advanced infantry training, I went to jump school and became a paratrooper. From there I went to Special Forces Training in Ft. Bragg. After SF training I spent two years as a demolitionist in a Special Forces A-Team.

What the readers are saying about “The Travelers”:
Nicole – I loved this book! I was hooked from the get-go and could NOT put this down! I ate it up and could not wait after one adventure to move on to the next!
Roger – This book is a movie waiting to happen. It has everything: lots of action, all sorts of special effects, evil cowboys, noble Indians, resourceful young people, a strong female protagonist, and even a touch of romance at the end.
Annabella – A really good story that all ages might enjoy reading. It would make a great movie. I am a senior citizen and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. All the characters were interesting. I would like a continuance of this book written.
Elizabeth – I read this book twice and am waiting impatiently for a sequel.
Not since Outlander have I enjoyed a book more.
If you like time travelers, adventure and a great story this is the book for you.
The Travelers: Book 2
This book picks up where the last book left off. Jack, Sonny and Beth are transported back to the ancient Indian burial cave in the jungles of the 1970s Panama Canal Zone. They visit China Town where they meet an interesting and powerful Chinese gentleman and are introduced to the warfare between the triads and the tongs. They find their lives are in danger from an old enemy.
