Overview: “To Peirama”(The Experiment) attempts to place under the roof of peculiar, subtly connected narrative partial tales, that lean toward the structure of a more synthetic prose piece – which however cannot be regarded as neither a novella nor a novel.
It is implied, that this volume does not fit within any traditional genre of creative prose.
The book could be characterized as “a study on erotic love and soul”. The relation of an erotic couple forms the central thematic axis as it runs across most of the stories in various forms, variations and dispositions.
From the beginning, He and She, set on their spots as the book´ s protagonists, take a pledge to undergo an experiment .They are called to find out whether their souls “become participants in the divine substance”.
Myrto Azina s Medical Studies and her love for literature seal her writing style, the manners in which she traces her themes and tormented heroes.
Quite a few among them are in some way or other connected to her medical background. At the same time, several narrative personae are dissected with a doctor´s scalpel, using psychoanalytic or dream techniques.
