The Circle of Always Becoming is two stories in one. The first is the hero’s journey of a man who defies societal norms, and overcomes great physical hardships in order to obtain a saving boon for his people. The second story is a spiritual adventure. After becoming aware that everything he ever believed is a lie, the hero–using dreams and visions in the manner of Carl Jung–struggles to find purpose and meaning, and reconnect with God. Ultimately the hero must face the question: in his quest to save his people has he become their savior or the source of their expulsion from Paradise?
