Li-ara knows nothing about the stranger bleeding at her feet except that he’s an elite Huntsman Bounty Hunter. And a pack of wild canines have caught the scent of his death and are coming. If either are going to survive, she must get him to safety.
Drifting in and out of unconsciousness, BiiJun fights to live. Helpless and unable to defend himself, he must depend on the stranger. While in her care, he glimpses a different future – one without killing, one without the armor and helmet. It is the life most Hunters desire but dare never hope for. Remembering his oath to the Huntsmen, BiiJun struggles with the possibility that such a life might be his.
He has one of two choses: continue to wear the helmet and remain a Bounty Hunter or remove the covering and start a new life. His choice will not only define his future, but that of his clan and the galaxy. Which choice would you make? Is there honor without the helmet?
