She can’t remember him, nor can she remember the end of Earth and how she came to be in a new solar system with an alien who claims they are lovers. Even though she is wildly attracted to him something feels amiss, especially his recount of how they came to be together after Earth’s mysterious ending, or why they can’t immediately return to his home planet where he is the Monarch’s son.
As their adventure continues, Amber is hurtled into worlds that both stun and defy her imagination. Her continued flashbacks of another lover, the mystery surrounding her departure from Earth and how she came to be the coveted spouse and princess on his planet are slowly revealed to her along with the terrifying choices she has made to survive.
#2 – Forbidden
Everything about young Samantha’s life since the devastation of Earth and the move to a new solar system seems to be forbidden.
Despite her family’s protests, she has taken a job in the household of the widowed young overlord and alien Prince Shihlo of Throm – partly responsible for the annihilation of Earth and fully responsible for being the most intoxicating, magnetic creature she has ever met.
Shihlo is the most eligible bachelor in the solar system. He is so enigmatically beautiful and powerful that women trip over their feet when they see him. Sadly for Sam, he would never glance at one of his employees and because of his brother’s fiasco with Amber, he has disallowed relationships between humans and his own kind. Adding to that, the law for consent in Diogel is pegged at 20 and Sam is only 19.
This doesn’t help Sam, who falls in love with him a little more every day, certain that some of the looks he gives her are much more than "fond."
With her penchant for finding trouble and adventure, Sam ends up spending time with those within the solar system who are forbidden to practice magic and sorcery. She unwittingly attracts the attention of another – only this time it’s a powerful being of magic, set to return from a deep slumber.
