Overview: Throughout my life, I have always been struck with the diversity of female beauty. The idea of having a “type” never occurred to me. When it came to writing romantic literature, I used this love of the fairer sex in all its forms to weave romance and sex into what I hope are fun plotlines, interesting mysteries and exciting new worlds. If you wonder why I use certain expressions, my Canadian heritage is probably to blame. I have travelled extensively, and tend to use the places I have been as the setting for modern stories or as inspiration for the other places I create. I adore books. In a very close second place, I adore movies. (There is a reason my first book is about my protagonist finding love with a movie star!).
I hope you all enjoy reading as much as I have writing.

1. The Cost of Being Special
Kyle is directionless, languishing in a local community college trying to figure out what to do with his life. All around him, the world is getting stranger. A virus has rendered most of the male population in the world infertile. The fabric of society is stretching thin. People are scared of what might come next.
Then, in a lightning strike of unexpected fortune, Kyle finds out he is one of the few. He isn’t at all ready for what comes next. It no longer matters if he ever had hopes and dreams. What other people want suddenly is now far more important. Some want to claim him. Some want to hate him. Then, there are those who don’t think he should ever have received that gift. They will do anything to make sure he never gets the chance to enjoy it.
The fact that he is special crashes into his life and changes the way everyone looks at Kyle. But that is both a gift and a curse. There is a cost to finding out that he is special, and the cost might end up being his life.
2. Unwilling to Back Down
Kyle has evolved from the person he once was, but his purpose remains the same: to find himself in a world that seems ready to chew him up and spit him out. There are people who are intent on killing him: not only for what he knows, but for what he is. Even worse, the people who have tried to help Kyle, and who he has come to care about deeply, are equally in danger. He will never let them get hurt. Which means, he has to do something.
But their enemy doesn’t seem to have a face. Is it the government? A part of the government? Or some shadow organization clinging to the outskirts pretending to be official? Kyle and his lovers need to know what they are up against. That means searching for proof that will convince the real authorities of the truth, clear Kyle’s name, and maybe stop this encroaching evil before they get too powerful to be stopped.
Kyle doesn’t know if he is the only one searching for the truth. All that he knows is that these people are trying to terrify him into silence, run him down and kill him. But he is unwilling to back down from the challenge. If they want to mess with him, then he’s going to spit into their faces and dare them to do their worst. Because he… well, he will do his worst right back at them.
3. Whatever Comes, Whatever it Takes
The news was enough to blow Kyle’s mind. He had believed that nothing could cause a bigger stir than his revelation over network television that the Soldiers of Dawn, a group of eugenicists operating in secret, had not only infiltrated the government but also released Persterim, the disease crippling the fertility of the male portion of society.
That was until an announcement came from the highest levels of government declaring that the corruption didn’t stop inside the lower ranks of various agencies. It went all the way to the top. As other governments around the world echo the same accusations at their own leaders, the truth had become very apparent: society as a whole was on the verge of breaking down into outright pandemonium.
Continuously hunted by the Dawn, Kyle begins to make preparations for the safety of his new family. But even as they do, they discover a new terror emerging. One that will rip apart the world in a way that no-one imagined.
His family is in danger, and Kyle will do anything to keep them safe. Whatever comes, whatever it takes, he was going to see them through this.
4. Left to Our Own Devices
Kyle and his newfound family had found a reprieve from being hunted by the Soldiers of Dawn, the group of eugenicists who had released the sterility virus Persterim. Now that the virus had mutated into a deadly version of itself, society as a whole was crippled, and there seemed to be larger issues at play than hunting him down.
Eager to use their freedom to best advantage, Kyle led his supporters on a search for everything they would need to survive in their new world. Medical support to ensure their children would be cared for. A place to call home. And perhaps most important of all, the equipment they would need to set up a lab so the scientists traveling with them could take a stab at finding a Persterim cure.
The odds were long, but Kyle wasn’t going to give up on the hope that the chaos in the world might be reversed if only someone was willing to stand up and fight those who were trying to destroy it.
5. Always Comes a Reckoning
For the first time, Kyle and his family have the chance to take advantage of a weakness in the Dawn organization. But to seize that chance, they will need support. As successful as they’ve been in staying alive, they are not capable of planning a large-scale attack against a hardened target.
To that end, Kyle hatches a plan to expand their team using a contact within a nearby military organization. With the federal authorities reeling from the Persterim disaster, they hope to find warriors willing to fight for the right for everyone to exist and take down the eugenicist nightmare threatening to plunge the world into a dark era.
But recruiting that help will only be the first battle. The Dawn is an international organization, with connections and power bases spread around the whole globe. If they are ever to be defeated, then something drastic might need to be done. Not by someone with nothing to lose. Rather, by someone with a cherished family he has to protect at all costs.
