Overview: Lieutenant Jim Bennington of the US Space Navy had been advised not to get involved with an Amish woman, but Amy Kirke form the planet Argos was not a typical Amish woman. Not only was she beautiful, but she was contentious, combative, intelligent and spirited. When Jim was sent on a mission to Argos he met Amy and was strongly attracted to her. The adventurous Amy led Jim into one dangerous escapade after another. When one of the escapades landed them in the middle of a plot to control the universe, Jim began to wonder if it would have been wise to heed the advice.
