A history student at Laval University finds himself at the heart of an investigation that will forever change what he takes for granted. His research will lead him to the very depths of Quebec City, where a labyrinth of underground passages burrows through the old town. Can it really be that normal citizens by day engage in barbaric rituals at nightfall? That they worship a power external to our reality whose primordial character manifests itself in destruction by fire?
In this Lovecraftian investigation, the protagonist confronts a century-old arsonist cult in the heart of Quebec City. The incandescent flames will threaten the integrity of his body, but the real fight will be for the salvation of his soul.
