Overview: We are in ancient Rome. The Emperor Claudius attends gladiators fighting in the middle of the arena, with the vain hope of survival. In addition to these tragic events, other plots are fomented in the shadows, with – eternal challenge the power!
- It is a scorching heat of the arena and the few survivors gladiators are still trying to kill not play anyone except the Emperor Claudius, slumped in the deserts bleachers, eager to hear the last gasp of the last fighter.
Outside the arena, life is too fierce. Everyone wants power, everyone is willing to kill to get it. Agrippina, for example, the second wife of Claudius and mother of Nero, is doing a poison to make her beloved husband dead and her son, Nero heritage the throne.
This is the story of Rome as it tells us in textbooks, except that it takes on a surprising landscape: bloody and villainous, also tells superstition, betrayal, terror and violence.

The story begins in ancient Rome during the reign of Emperor Claudius. He fell in love with a young woman, thus abandoning the terrible Agrippina and his adopted son, the future emperor Nero. After Claude was murdered, Nero ascended the throne and became the prey of madness, real or supposed, which consumes. Through these events, we see how dark Nero in cruelty, by coincidence, a game of manipulation and revenge …
