Overview: Every day when my wife woke up in the morning, she would start pondering what dishes to whip up for breakfast and lunch for our children. After lunch, she would think again what to cook for dinner. Sometimes, I made recommendations on what to cook for our next day meals. Occasionally, I accompanied her to the wet market and supermarket stores to get all the needed ingredients for the dishes that she planned to cook. Overall, she is a fast learner. She consistently improves her cooking skill by reading other chef’s cookbooks. She will always feel delighted with grinning smile whenever our children praise her cooking style.
She taught them some basic cooking skills too. No doubts, now they can independently cook some simple dishes on their own like whipping up their own favourably noodles or made egg mayo sandwiches if they are in a morning rush. On certain occasions, whipping up a few dishes on their own whenever we are not in or we need to stay back late for work.
As parents, we believe whipping up good food and cooking will definitely bring friends, family, and loved ones together in good bonding spirits, harmony, joy and warmth amongst one another. Don’t you agree?
