It’s a weapon, it’s HUGE. Basics to advanced cooking skills are both covered. The recipes are clear, the pictures are plentiful and fantastic. I have given 3 copies of this book as gifts, everyone loves it. It’s one of those rare cookbooks that has creative ideas, but not so far out of the box you wonder what they were thinking. Lot’s of down home food too….it covers it all from scrambling an egg to making a mousse. I own probably 100 cookbooks and this one is hands down my favorite
