22-year-old Jamison Freston is spending his life working during the day and caring for his brother and sister at night. It’s been two years since he’s written anything significant. However, someone is after the Zodiac Gemstones, twelve magical items that alone are powerful but together can grant godhood or immortality, and they’re willing to kill to get to them.
Now, supported by a brainy friend, a ditzy crush, an old flame, and a new but eager ally, Jamison must acquire the Zodiac Gemstones, navigate the complex nature of his relationships, and defeat the enemies fighting him for this new world he has access to, all while trying to figure out why this is even happening to him in the first place.
