Overview: Mrs Bennet has moved her family to Hollywood, California. She has ambitions for her daughter Jane and wants her to be a great movie star.
So, when she meets Charles Bingley, top Hollywood producer at his ranch, she thinks her chance has come at last.
Bingley is making a big movie called First Impressions, to be directed by his friend Bill Darcy. Darcy has yet to find the right actress for the female lead. He toys with the idea of using an unknown actress and then, at a party at Netherfield Ranch he meets Lizzy Bennet. Could she play the role, he thinks to himself.
There seem to be only two problems. First, Lizzy has never acted before and doesn’t know whether she is suitable. Second, she takes an instant dislike to Darcy.
But will her feelings change…?
This is a modern Pride and Prejudice variation, set in the Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1930s
