“If you go stomping around down there you’ll be seen!” the girl said. “You can’t blend in the way I can. You should stay here and be ready to fight them when I tell you.”
“I’ve done quite a bit of scouting without your assistance,” Blackshot replied, “and I’ll figure out the whole ‘blending in’ bit just fine.”
“Not like I can.” Her hands flew to the front of her shirt and in an instant she had stripped it off and tossed it at his feet. It took only another moment to slide the skirt down her broad hips and it crumpled at her feet as she stepped out of it, fully naked. She leaned back against a tree, her taut coppery gold body undulating against the golden brown trunk.
“See what I mean?” she purred. “Now don’t you think you should stay here and save your strength for later?”

She drew it back and jabbed it out again toward his stomach with deadly force. Twisting aside to dodge the thrust, he clamped his fingers around her forearm and slammed her arm against the wall, dislodging the knife from her hand. She thrashed against him, trying to free her arm from his grip, and Blackshot saw her other hand grabbing the butt of a silver revolver that had been secreted under her jacket.
“Dammit! How many weapons are you carrying?” he grunted.
“Enough to finish you for good!” the girl cried.
