Overview: Reluctant relic hunter Adaire Winfield searches the globe for items of power, cleaning up magical messes and collecting these artifacts for the Seal of Solomon. It’s a pretty decent gig, with lots of all-expense-paid trips around the world. The downside is that he has to deal with a lot of nasty consequences: angry super-powerful beings, innocent people being turned into fish, or simple folks who don’t understand the repercussions of using magical relics. It’s his job to make it right, while not getting caught up in the power himself or pissing off too many of the jinn. Which Adaire manages to do far too often.

Finding a way to escape the dream is a problem they’ll have to figure out later … as soon as they figure out how to survive in the first place.

When Adaire Winfield’s friend Pihu calls him begging for help, he can’t say no. Especially when she tells him someone threw a car into a restaurant and almost killed her. It sounds far too much like a relic is involved for the Seal of Solomon to ignore. But as he gets caught up in a sibling rivalry spanning thousands of years, between creatures with powers beyond anything he’d ever encountered before, he realizes this could be his most dangerous trip yet.
