Bethany Prince is an incorrigible romantic. When the young American art historian with a penchant for antiques spots the job ad “Muse Wanted,” she just knows that she has to apply—especially when she finds out the renowned artist is the owner of a Scottish castle.

It also turns out that castle owners can be broke and living in a shed. Not the classy accommodations Bethany had been hoping for—but apparently the castle is derelict and inhabited by a ghost.
