Winter’s Crimes 11 (1979) Anthology by George Hardinge (ed. Sun77)
Requirements: ePUB reader, 0.52Mb
Overview: The policy of Winter’s Crimes anthologies is to publish new short stories: stories—written specially for the series—that will never before have seen the light of day except possibly in America.
As Winter’s Crimes reaches the age of eleven its companion volume, Winter’s Tales, appears for the twenty-fifth time, edited by Caroline Hobhouse. There will also be a special jubilee edition of Winter’s Tales, chosen from the earlier volumes: published under the title Best for Winter, this will be edited by A. D. Maclean.
Winter’s Crimes has been lucky all the way with its contributors, and the luck holds. I am very grateful to the authors who contributed to this volume, and I do not need to speak for them, since their names are well-known.
