A Case of Garden Bones (#1)
After three years away, Aubrey returns home to her mother’s bed & breakfast in the small town of Willow Cove, Georgia. Having just left a cheating husband, she was ready to get on with the rest of her life.
Annoyance with the resident handyman, Gavin, is her biggest stressor at the otherwise relaxing inn. That is until two skeletons are discovered buried beneath the rose bushes on the property.
When the local police chief shows little interest in solving the murders, Aubrey takes matters into her own hands. Much to her dismay, Gavin becomes an asset in the investigation and, odder yet, a friend.
Aubrey and Gavin must work together to discover this town’s dark secrets. They must be careful because the closer they get to cracking the case, the closer they get to a desperate killer.
A Case of Heart Troubles (#2)
Aubrey thought the small town of Willow Cove would return to normal after solving the case of the two skeletons. And for a while, it did. Until Edith Thomas was found murdered.
One of the town’s oldest residents, Edith was known for her chocolate chip muffins, sweet smile, and bouffant hairdo. But considering the vicious way she was killed—stabbed multiple times in and around the heart—she might have had secrets she kept hidden.
After Aubrey and Gavin’s success in solving the previous murder case, the townspeople came to them with information surrounding Edith’s death.
When the sheriff demanded they stop the investigation, it only made them want to solve it more. Everyone was a suspect until they found the real culprit. However, they must be careful as the murderer was following their every move.
Were Gavin and Aubrey—and their fledgling romance—going to survive this one and solve the case? Or were they in over their heads?
A Case of Wedding Woes (#3)
After Gavin and Aubrey solved two cases and decided to turn their private investigation talents into a paying business, Aubrey’s mom insisted they all take a break and go on a vacation, so the three of them set off to Ireland for a trip of a lifetime.
They checked into a charming Irish inn where a wedding party was also staying. After a restless night’s sleep, a bloodcurdling scream from across the hall alerted them to the fact that the bride had just found her maid of honor dead—strangled in her sleep.
Though Gavin and Aubrey were met with nothing but skeptics when they offered their investigation services, they decided to take matters into their own hands, as they so often did.
As it turned out, everyone who traveled to Ireland for the wedding had a motive, and the killer didn’t want the American investigators anywhere near the case. The closer Gavin and Aubrey came to the truth, the more danger they were in.
Can Gavin and Aubrey solve this one without disastrous consequences? Or has their luck run out?
A Case of Nurse Endings (#4)
Life in Willow Cove was going great for Gavin and Aubrey. Now, with several cases solved, their PI business was thriving. Work at the bed and breakfast was rewarding, and their relationship was on track.
A chainsaw slip had Aubrey rushing Gavin to the local clinic for some stitches, where he was helped by an overly friendly nurse. Aubrey was surprised to discover that the nurse was Gavin’s ex-wife, who had recently moved into town.
Nothing prepared Gavin and Aubrey for the shocking news of the nurse’s death the next day or the fact they were on the sheriff’s short list of murder subjects.
Even though Aubrey couldn’t be sure of Gavin’s whereabouts when the nurse was murdered, she knew he was innocent. They just had to prove it, and fast. They were not going down for a crime they didn’t commit.
