Overview: Prologue
Their names were Crystal Jackson and Kim Phillips. They weren’t even 18 years old yet. Their deaths are still a mystery to many because they refuse to believe what really happened. I, however, know the truth because I was there.
My name is Deanna Samuel. Crystal and Kim were two of my best friends until the incident at the old Carson house. The Carson house was a typical 2 story house built sometime in the late 30’s. It was one of those houses you dared your friend to go into. The Carson house had been abandoned and overgrown for as long as we could remember. A short wood fence surrounded the place and it had a wooden gate that creaked whenever anyone tried to open it. I can remember it like yesterday, if only the others would believe me.
