When You Only Need To Ask by Hadleigh Stephens (House of Sin #1)

Overview: There aren’t any secrets in a small town. Gossip is king—or queen, if you like. If you don’t know already, my family has been one of the major subject matters for most of the juicy tidbits for generations. Boy this small town likes cutting people up pretty good with their busy tongues.
It doesn’t help matters much that when our grandmother up and died, my brothers and I became the proud owners of the Sinclair ancestral home, a three story Queen Anne style Victorian with gingerbread trim and ‘that place’, The House of Sin.
At least that’s how we’ve referred to it in secret.
It’s what the town has called it for years anyhow, whispered behind newspapers, hands, or even church hymnals.
So, that’s what we named it. The House of Sin.
Believe me when I say most wouldn’t turn up their noses at inheriting a successful family business or a sprawling estate, excepting when that family business has been turned into something that would make many a grown men blush.
Even so, I still have a hard time being completely open and honest with myself. Let’s just say that I’ve got needs and when I finally got the nerve to do something about it, well, the end results aren’t what I had in mind. Black and blue isn’t my best color.
Most would probably say that my life changed dramatically when we opened the House of Sin five years ago and they wouldn’t be far from wrong. I became a pariah to some since I’m an unmarried woman working around all those vile accoutrements for what some might deem deviant sexual behavior.
I would’ve said my life changed when I met Nate and realized how big of dicks men could truly be.
Now I know the real change occurred when his unbelievable voice washed over me as I hung upside down in a Jeep.
That’s when I realized my life would never be the same again.
