1. Nabvan – He was forced to guard the kidnapped human meant to be the king’s wife, but whose side was he really on?
Alexis Fisher wanted to work for NASA, but she wasn’t treated as an equal due to her young age and gender. In a desperate act of defiance, she became a mail order bride for an alien species. On Arkani, a peaceful planet, there might have been a chance to show her scientific skills. All bets were off when her spaceship was captured by the warriors of Milisaria and the king chose her as a mate.
Nabvan was the king’s second in command. He felt dishonored by the king’s order to act as a simple guard for the human female. Humans only interested him as allies in war. But, this one began to get under his skin. She withstood cruelty and pain in order to uphold her self-respect. In doing so, she gained his as well.
Alexis didn’t want to marry the king. He had far too many concubines already. Her defiance brought out King Shene’s cruel side. He had her beaten and starved. Nabvan couldn’t afford to show his displeasure to the king, but he also couldn’t allow the human to suffer.
Would the mighty warrior defy his king for a mere human? Was Alexis worth dying for?
2. Siefer – Is a king’s seeming indifference cause for betrayal? Should a woman forfeit her life to bear a child? ?
Destiney was honored to be the new king’s wife. It was a privilege she hadn’t imagined upon leaving Earth to marry an alien. However, King Siefer’s duties take him from her and their infant son for long periods of time. A handsome, young colonist gives her all the attention she craves. Should a queen find solace for her lonely heart?
King Siefer fears letting down the Milisarians who made him king. He devotes his time to repairing the damage of the former ruler. His human bride is left behind far too often. He loves her still, but can not reach a balance between his job and family. While King Siefer is traveling across the universe, Destiney is feeling ignored. She finds friendship and more with a returning colonist. He is not as he appears. There is trouble brewing behind his handsome facade. Meanwhile, the other human wives are dying in childbirth without explanation. It is up to the queen’s friend, Alexis, to find a way to save them, including herself.
Will Destiney catch on to her lover’s dark plans in time to save Milisaria? Will Alexis survive to see her child’s first smile? ?
3. Ohber – Are aliens a less evolved, unintelligent species? A greedy scientist will discover the falsity of that idea when he meets the Milisarian Knights.
Valeri Cavanaugh was excited to join her father’s government funded experimental lab. She would finally be in the thick of important research to aid humans, or so she thought. What she found in the lab was perplexing and heartbreaking. The aliens soon became real to her, not the animals she had imagined.
Ohber was a mighty Milisarian Knight, a warrior from another world. He was captured years ago by scientists who have done tortuous experiments on his body. Ohber felt betrayed by his fellow knights who had not come to his rescue. He trusted no one, until the beautiful and compassionate daughter of his captor gave him hope.
Valeri was shocked to see the devastation the experiments were causing on the aliens. She found the other species to be quite intelligent and far surpassing humans in many ways. As she probed deeper into the hidden records of her own father, she found greed was behind his work instead of the altruistic motives he claimed.
Will Valeri turn against her father and uphold alien rights? Can Ohber find love with one of his tormentors? Who will rescue the aliens?
4. Urim – Redemption is difficult to find among deceptive aliens. The mighty Milisarian Knights might not be victorious this time. Josephine Landers had been a nurse in the experimental labs on Earth. She sought redemption by taking an assignment to be the medical aid for a species called the Pura. She was to care for them while they made a new planet ready to sustain their people. The discovery that they were trespassing on Milisaria’s territory had Josephine acting as peacemaker. Milisaria’s population was growing too quickly for their planet to sustain them. They needed more land to grow crops. Urim took a contingent of Knights and farmers to one of Milisaria’s empty planets. He was to oversee the planting of crops. A human female put a wrench in his plans, by arguing that another species needed the planet more. Unlike Milisarian Knights, the Pura were not giants trained in battle from birth. They appeared small, and weak. Their refusal to retreat from a planet belonging to a race of warriors seemed almost laughable. But, the Pura had a secret army which they controlled at the touch of a button. This army felt no pain and couldn’t die. Could the Milisarian Knight’s defeat a futuristic army with just their swords? Would Josephine find herself expendable to the Pura? Could she look to Urim to save her?
5. Srath – Earth was on the verge of interplanetary war. Their arrogance caused many planets
to turn against them. Alone, they could never save the planet from destruction. Nancy Fisher was an advocate of equal rights, both for humans and aliens. She was disgusted by the news of hidden experimental labs all over Earth. Riots were rampant as the tortured aliens were discovered. Nancy had to find a way to help the injured and stop their planets from retaliating. She looked to her sister, Alexis, and Milisaria for aid. Srath was a rebel warrior. He preferred the past king’s violent way of ruling over King Siefer’s more intellectual views. There was not enough fighting to satisfy his needs. Srath also followed the past king’s example of womanizing. One female was not enough to satisfy his needs. He hoped to find war and women on the mission to Earth. Humans and aliens were fighting among themselves over alien rights. Both sides were divided and riots abounded all over the planet. Alien planets demanded that Earth change its ways or it could be destroyed. The other species were tired of being treated as lesser beings. The President of the United States was determined to keep peace among all nations and planets. She allied herself with Milisaria. Would Earth survive or would the arrogance and superiority complex of its people cause its destruction?
