Overview: Charles is a writer. He writes books. He once ate an entire pizza then ran through the streets shouting to anyone that would listen that he was full. Satisfaction comes easy for those who find satisfaction satisfying. Charles really doesn’t know what to write here… He made up that part about running through the streets and yelling. He has done that, but not after eating an entire pizza; though he has done that as well. Actually, everything so far is true, just not in the right order… That happens a lot. If you’re still reading this, Charles feels like you might be going through a tremendously boring time in your life, and recommends picking up a book. He just so happens to have a few you can choose from. If you don’t like his books, then there are a few million on Amazon you can peruse at your own leisure. Though, if you don’t like his books, why are you here? Why are any of us here? Is the universe just a simulation that will be reset when we die, like the restarting of the worst/best game in history?
Genre: Science Fiction
Genesis (#1)
A cutting-edge starship and a pint-sized black cat; these are the weapons of a War Mage.
The Elif, an elf-like race, came from the stars thirty years ago; their ships filling our skies. Unlike all the movies had taught us, they really did come in peace. They brought technology we had only dreamed possible, but more importantly, they brought us magic to make it all work.
Now they need something in return.
Twins, Sara and Cora Sonders, are newly minted Captains in the United Human Confederation’s Fleet, but their first assignment may be pushing them just a little too hard. The Elif are desperate for the newest ship in Humanity’s fleet, the UHS Raven, to succeed. But the experimental systems on the Raven may be too much for the twins to handle. It’s clear there is a lot more happening than their benefactors are letting on, and now it’s up to Sara and Cora to find the answers before humanity is wiped out completely.
Harbinger (#3)
A dangerous alien race. A killer robot army. But who is the real enemy?
Some secrets are too important to share with just anyone. Especially during wartime. Sara needs to find someone she can trust back at headquarters.
They’ve been sent on a mission to get them out of the way. And now, things are looking bleak. They are fighting for their lives. Their starship is barely intact. And a terrifying new enemy is resistant to their magical attacks.
Will reinforcements arrive before it’s too late?
