When Cole Outstar and his rowdy team of Airborne Operators are deployed as a special forces element, a large-scale terrorist attack by the shadowy group Black Skull puts Cole under fire again. Set to prove his innocence as they blink out to an uncharted electric storm nebula, the team’s mission goes well for about ten seconds before all communication is cut off and a mysterious titan-class vessel locks onto their ship.
Before long, the team is forced to deal with a phantom colony, killer space worms, and even a maverick Adrian queen. All before lunch.
As Cole’s unknown powers reach new heights and he encounters some old acquaintances, he has to ask himself where his true loyalties lie: with his team, who would do anything for him, or with those who pulled him out of the mud of his past and saved him from life in a space prison. Either way leads to death–but Cole’s a human, after all. And humans don’t die easy.
