Overview: How do you define reality? If you’re talking about what you can see, smell, feel, taste and hear, then real is just electrical signals interpreted by your brain. This is the world that you know.

Alex is a front-line tester for Void.Net, the full-dive platform ran and designed by hyper-advanced AI. Luckily for him, he gets to explore all the games before they release – but it’s a dangerous game he’s playing. Tester’s die, nobody knows for sure how often (thanks to iron-clad NDA’s), but sometimes AI designers take it too far like wanting players to experience permadeath.

This run, Alex is exploring Wonderland a mind-bending place of danger and maddening beauty and is occupied by the Faefolk, who are unpredictable at best. Bound to a dizzying array in customs and rituals, their thought process is all but impossible for humans to understand, and as such Alex ends up soulbound to Inga and loses time. It could have been weeks or months or years, or even decades. The world of the Fae has a way of making you forget, and nothing pleases them more than messing with people from Earth.

Alex has no idea how long he has in Wonderland, time in Void.Net can get funny, and he must figure out how to get his menu back so he can exit and find out if he is still alive, or if his body is a withering husk laying in bed with his rig on.
