Needing #1: Oliver gets calls from the dead, imploring him to help them find their killers. He’s heard them since he was a child and now assists the police in their investigations. He works closely with Detective Langham—and has steadily fallen more in love with him every day of the six months he’s known him. But does Langham feel the same? Is Langham even gay?
When Oliver answers the call of a dead woman, he finds himself standing in a remote field, gazing down at her corpse. Someone else is out there with him, though, watching, waiting to cause him harm. After he’s run off the road, Oliver has no choice but to aid Langham in finding her killer—no choice because more people are killed and more people call out to him…he’s unable to ignore their pleas.
As the body count grows and the investigation becomes more complex, Oliver realises that Langham is indeed very gay—and out to make Oliver his.

Wanting #2: Oliver and Langham need to discover why over twenty gay men are abducting then killing other gay men in a weird ritual…
Oliver and Langham have the huge task of finding more than twenty men who have committed a murder—one where the victim is gay and has been used and abused in a sexual rite. Upon viewing the first victim, Oliver knows this is the first of many, and he’s dreading the bodies piling up.
Adam is sick of hiding. He’s secreted himself away since he was attacked by a violent gang and knows he needs to sort himself out before his boyfriend, Dane, gets tired of looking after his every need. After he’s exposed to another frightening episode in the mini-mart where Dane works, they both realise something’s got to give. They move away to Lower Repton, a small hamlet that recently hit the news due to the Sugar Strands case.
What should have been a shelter from the evil of city life becomes another nightmare. Adam is forced to face his fears when he and Dane find a dead body—and Adam starts hearing voices in his head. The two men meet Oliver and Langham, and together they are drawn into a web of deceit.

Keeping #3: With a serial killer on the loose, Langham and Oliver have their work cut out finding him before he kills again…
Detective Langham has had a case on his desk for a while, but there have been no clues, no leads, and no damn break to help him find a serial killer. That is, until his psychic lover, Oliver, hears the voice of someone he knows—a woman he works with at the local newspaper who has been abducted. When the woman is dumped in the stream, with the readers thinking she’s dead, Langham decides to goad the killer via a press release and put one of his female sergeants out there as bait. He can only hope his team remain vigilant as the time draws near for them to catch the killer…
David is that killer. After growing up in a dysfunctional household, he has very important reasons for abducting then killing women. He’s on a personal journey, intent on understanding why he does what he does—why he enjoys dressing in women’s clothing sometimes and why he doesn’t have sexual feelings for either gender. With his doll, Sally, by his side, David is convinced he will find the answers he seeks…

Aching #3: Oliver and Langham are on the hunt for another killer—one who befriends women then kills them because he thinks God told him to. He uses a roulette wheel to determine their manner of death, and the result is never pretty.
During their investigation, Oliver and Langham have to visit a BDSM club, knowing the killer will be there. However, Oliver’s senses are messed up—too many people around, and the stage show is a little too interesting—so the man they seek gets away. After the show, the two men have questions about what they want in the bedroom. Can they open up to one another and explain exactly what they want?
Through messages from the dead, Oliver knows the killer will lure another woman away very soon. The question is, will Oliver and Langham reach her in time before the roulette wheel spins again?

Faking #4: Oliver and Langham take two weeks off so they can rest after a string of murder cases has left them worn out. On the way to their destination, Langham spots two criminals driving in the same remote area. Known for being hitmen, surely they can only be on a job. Unable to quell his hunch, Langham is further on edge after their arrival at a small village pub where they’re staying. There’s something about the place—and the woman who runs it.
A mile or so away, a hitman, Jackson, is readying himself to kill a killer who is coming after his millionaire client Randall. Jackson has an immediate attraction to Randall, and the pair discover more about one another in one evening than Jackson’s revealed to anyone in a long time.
Lorie runs the pub where Oliver and Langham are staying. Colin is the butler at Randall’s mansion. How will their actions impact on Oliver, Langham, Jackson and Randall?
Murder. It’s everywhere…

Hiding #5: Their holiday should mean freedom and fun. Murder has other ideas…
After a murder case ruined their last break away, Oliver and Langham try again by going to the Caribbean. Surely by flying so far from home they’ll get a few days of peace and quiet where crime doesn’t mar their holiday. Unfortunately, fate has other ideas…
They rent an idyllic vacation hut that stands on struts in a turquoise sea—so perfect, so tranquil… Until a body floats past and Langham rushes out to save their life. He’s too late, and after going to the police station to give a statement, Langham and Oliver are dragged into the seedy underbelly of the seemingly quiet little town.
There’s a war going on between two gangs, and with a spirit telling Oliver he must complete a request to save someone else’s life, he and Langham find themselves too close to one gang for comfort. Murder has once again dogged them—but if they’re not careful, it might actually claim them as victims.
Being kidnapped isn’t their idea of a fun holiday activity, but neither is returning home to discover the nightmare isn’t over after all…

Taking #6: While working undercover, Langham thought he’d catch some kind of break. He thought wrong.
Years ago, Langham was on a case where missing men were being buried in other people’s graves. He’s now working undercover at a cemetery, trying to glean information. Is someone who works at the graveyard involved? Will new bodies be dumped there now that men have started going missing again? He isn’t sure, but when a man starts staring at him through the railings, Langham’s instinct kicks in. Something isn’t right.
Before he can do anything about it, he’s kidnapped and bundled into a van. Later, his lover Oliver is shoved into the van too, and they’re taken on a long journey. With the dead remaining silent, not giving Oliver anything to go on that will help them in their dilemma, the pair realise they’re on their own.
Left hanging by their wrists from a cellar ceiling, the two men acknowledge that maybe this time their luck really has run out. But what they don’t see is what’s going on in the big house they’re incarcerated in, and that maybe, just maybe, someone might be on their side…

Leaving #8: There comes a time when you just have to walk away.
Langham has had enough of murder and mayhem. For too many years he’s dealt with the horrors of his job and it’s taking a toll on him. Now he’s got Oliver and is more settled in his private life, he doesn’t need to be married to his job anymore.
Can he divorce himself from it, though? And what else would he do anyway? Like Oliver says, the job is Langham’s life. That’s no longer true—Oliver is his life these days, and Langham wants nothing more than to spend quality time with his lover.
However, crime doesn’t stop just because Langham wants it to, and when a mysterious caller seems intent on drawing Langham into his weird and wicked web, Langham can’t say no. But he can say this is the last case and that he’ll be leaving the force when it’s all wrapped up.
The problem is, The Caller has so many women on his kill list that the case isn’t likely to end any time soon. And The Caller…is he taunting Langham or reaching out for help? As bodies mount up and the calls become more frequent, The Caller realizes he may well be playing a game he should never have started—and that Langham will stop at nothing to bring him to justice.
