WHAT’S NEW

v2.5.0
* Fix playback launch from widget or headset
* Fix browser overlapping other views
* Fix display in audio when no audio has been discovered
* Misc. fixes

I’m sorry for those who don’t have there feature implemented, VLC for Android depends on VLC core, and core is being freezed for 3.0 release.
4.0 release should happen quicker than this one and it should unlock some interesting options for Android app.
In the mean time, 3.0 will bring some killer features :)

Thank you very much for all your feedbacks! It’s been really helpfull and VLC became a much better app thank to you.
Medialibrary has been a pain to stabilize, but it will be used in every VLC application:
integration in VLC-iOS in ongoing, and it will be integrated in desktop VLC too.

Next steps will be to make it faster of course, but also parsing network shares and scrap online info to get good classification and presentation.
Which will make VLC a fully-featured mediacenter.
I’ll work to make it optional, for those who still prefer VLC as a lightweight media player
