First Vision of Destiny – Alicia: Daisy’s first mistake was to tell her friends that the famous seer Sam Woods is a family friend; her second one, to let them convince her to organize a soiree so that they may meet him. They are excited and can’t wait to be given a vision of their romantic future. Daisy, on the other hand, still doesn’t see the point in being told what Cupid is preparing for her. One by one, Daisy’s nine friends will get a glimpse of the crucial choice, the passionate night, or the unexpected encounter that will shape the rest of their love lives. Will Daisy join them and ask Sam to reveal her future to her before the night is over? Alicia is the first to volunteer to be shown what her future holds, maybe because she hasn’t had much luck with men so far in her life. Craving a relationship in which she would be needed, she has been visiting blood bars and allowing vampires to bite her. Those same vampires, Sam Woods shows her, could cause her to lose the man she loves more than anything?
Second Vision of Destiny – Lydia: As Daisy slowly starts to accept that the seer Sam Woods might not be a fraud after all, Lydia volunteers to get a glimpse of her future. Her boyfriend Jack is not too pleased by this, and as Lydia’s vision unfolds, it appears that he was right to worry.
Time has passed and broken Jack and Lydia apart, leaving Lydia in the arms of an artist, Owen. On a special Halloween night, he reminds her of their journey together through eight paintings before transforming her life by making her what he is – a vampire.
Third Vision of Destiny – Joan: As Daisy witnesses her friends’ distress, she can only wonder, yet again, if visions of one’s future are more damaging than they are helpful. She tries to argue with the seer Sam Woods about it, tries to convince her friends not to go through the experience, but without any success, and she can only watch as Joan goes to Woods – watch, and hope that this vision will not break apart Joan and her boyfriend Brad.
In her vision, Joan is married to Brad, and they have two beautiful children. Everything seems perfect – except for the porn videos Joan discovers on the computer, that is. After her initial feelings of betrayal and talking about it with Brad, she realizes that, maybe, she could try to give Brad a very special Christmas gift by acting out his fantasy…
Fourth Vision of Destiny – Mike: Having finally accepted that the visions Woods offers her friends are real, Daisy begins to wonder what the seer himself gets out of the experience. It can’t be all that pleasant, she figures, especially when he has to kiss both women and men – and doesn’t like men in that way.
Mike, on the other hand, does like men, but he has had little luck in finding Mr. Right, despite his friends’ attempts at introducing him to potential relationship interests. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, his loneliness and one drink too many cause him to flirt with a handsome stranger and ask for a one-night stand. In the morning, though, that questionable decision might turn out to be the one that will change Mike’s life for the better.
Fifth Vision of Destiny – Brett: As the evening progresses and Daisy witnesses the seer Sam Woods giving her friends visions of their future, her opinion of Woods slowly changes. Maybe he isn’t the charlatan she believed, after all, and maybe all these glimpses of other people’s happiness are harder to bear than he lets on. His admission that he never felt real love, soon echoed by her friend Brett, leaves Daisy uncomfortable enough that she eavesdrops on Brett and Woods’ conversation.
For all his fears of not finding the person he is destined to love, Brett discovers in his vision that he will fall in love with not one lover, but two. Two vampires, in fact, a man and a woman, both of them so precious to him that he wants to show his love by offering them wedding rings. But when one of them refuses to wear the ring, the perfect relationship he thought he had starts to crumble around him… or does it?
