The life of an Afflicted is a lonely one.
But when I learn of a murder-assault downtown, only a few blocks away from my apartment, I have an epiphany. If it happened to me, it could have happened to someone else, right? There could be other Afflicted out there, and a smart way to find them is to track these kinds of attacks. So I do. I start my own investigation into what happened. Because I have skills that other people don’t. And when I realize the people responsible for this particular incident are probably just your regular variety assholes, I discover I might have another purpose.
On my mission to find others like me, I can get some justice along the way.
