Overview: Matthew has been creating science fiction and fantasy worlds for most of his reasoning life. Since 1996, he has developed the "Divergent Fates" world in which Division Zero, Virtual Immortality, The Awakened Series, The Harmony Paradox, the Prophet of the Badlands series, and the Daughter of Mars series take place. His books span adult, young-adult, and middle-grade fiction in multiple genres, predominantly science fiction, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, and fantasy. Matthew is an avid gamer, a recovered WoW addict, developer of two custom tabletop RPG systems, and a fan of anime, British humour, and intellectual science fiction that questions the nature of humanity, reality, life, and what might happen after it. He is also fond of cats, presently living with two: Loki and Dorian.

Artist of Ruin (Vampire Innocent #3):
Sarah Wright knows she’s in for a rough week when a ghost asking for help is the least frightening thing she has to deal with. A month after waking up as a vampire, unlife is feeling pretty sweet. Her mood swings are easing off, she’s got a decent boyfriend, and best of all, the parents let her slide on being lazy. They understand it’s a little awkward to keep a job when daylight can kill her. Oh, and the whole magical powers thing is pretty cool, too. After two weeks of quiet, her new normal blooms into a chaotic mess. Ashley’s awful luck with romance hits dangerously close to home. A simple favor for Aurélie ends with a possessed antique doll loose in the house, and worse, one random act of kindness gives Sarah something she’s never had before—a nemesis who wants to do more than kill her. She wants to utterly ruin her.
Hunting Vampires for Fun and Profit (Vampire Innocent #13):
Sarah Wright knows her un-life is about to get crazy—everything feels too normal. She doesn’t need a spirit oracle to warn her of imminent craziness. Seems every time her life after becoming a vampire starts to come close to resembling normality, all heck breaks loose. So, an idle moment of feeling almost bored is as dark an omen as it gets. It doesn’t help her unease when one of the Seven Signs of the Apocalypse manifests: Sophia has agreed to go to Girl Scout camp for a week away from home. Before Sarah can determine who abducted her littlest sister and replaced her with an exact replica, her not-so-summer job taps her for another errand. She needs only to recover a sword an unknown vampire stole from Arthur Wolent for equally unknown reasons… if she can find it. Sounds easy. Which means it’s going to kill her.
