Overview: I grew up in the country so it’s no wonder I used it as the inspiration for Valor’s home. I began wrting what would become Valor in the summertime when I was 19 and working in Fort McMurray between semesters. I finished the majority of the book the following summer. Many of names of places in the book are taken from actual places in the County of Northumberland – where I grew up. Since its release I have expanded on the series by publishing a second book and am currently working on a third. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them!

In the second installment of the Valor series, Gorgyth’s power has quickly returned and Aedra stands on the brink of war; but there is hope yet. Along the way he finds adversity around every corner. Goblins, trolls, wolves and the wintery elements of the harsh Northern Lands all confront him in various ways; but as he battles through these challenges, the blank pages begin to fill in on the history of the book and the great war that started it all.
