Overview: By the year 2320, nuclear warfare has killed most of the world’s population. Resources are limited, and survivors have been divided into two groups- suits and unsuits.
Kai Markavitch is considered a suit, one of the privileged few who enjoys a life of luxury. Despite her affluent lifestyle, Kai feels trapped by her overbearing government. So when rumors surface that there is an unsuit community beyond the dome, Kai is determined to join them and leave her mundane life behind her.
But Kai isn’t welcome in this new world. The unsuits loathe her, placing decades of resentment on her shoulders. After enduring verbal and physical altercations, and near murder, Kai finds her new life to be a living hell.
It’s only after she meets Zander that things begin to look up. An unsuit soldier, Zander sees her as the enemy. But when Kai makes a grave sacrifice to protect Zander’s family, their relationship is forever altered. The duo attempts to unite the suits and unsuits, a seemingly impossible task, all while trying to save their relationship from the negativity of those around them.
Now a second war lies on the brink, and Kai finds herself at the middle of it. She embarks on an incredible journey of self-discovery, betrayal, and romance as she finds her place in this new world.
