Overview: Police officers faced horrible things all of the time. I knew this when I signed up but I still wanted to be part of it. I didn’t want to see human nature at its lowest point but I did want to be there when it happened. It was my whole reason for joining. Now this one incident had thrown me. In police terms, it wasn’t even a very bad one but there in the hospital, alone in bed, was a very dark moment.
Then something unexpected happened.
Charlie walked in.
Alex met Charlie when she entered the police academy. She was a recruit and he was her fire arms instructor. She had fallen in love with him but he was charismatic, gorgeous and completely out of her reach… or so she thought.
