Overview: In this story, I take the reader through a journey of several psychotic breakdowns, that lead me to multiple hospitalizations, many medications, and I turned it around. This year I will graduate college from Central Michigan University. I took out loans to go to school, and I think the scariest part is feeling like this is a story so dramatic that I hope I can still find a good job, or make it as a successful entrepreneur. The fear of judgement is strong, but I took a risk and shared my story because it’s literally the kind of stuff movies are made of, and I really hope that it inspires others to never give up on themselves. I hope the reader can laugh with me, because some of my hallucinations were just downright funny. While it is sad, frightening, and earth shattering to be the “psychotic girl,” hopefully some good can stem from all of it.
