Overview: Ray Blackwell; First of all I will fill in a bit of my occupational hazards. My first real job was with the Missouri Army National Guard. For nine years I was in the guard from 20 years old until 29. Eight of those nine years I worked full time as a Utility Helicopter Mechanic. I left after losing my best friend during Desert Storm and drove a cab for one year before landing a job as a Field Research Technician for the state of Missouri.
It was a great gig if you enjoyed living in hotels during the week. So after 14 years of that, I did many peculiar jobs, traveling up cell towers, inspecting fire trucks and boom trucks and eventually running my own business as an expediter.
I was married twice! First one was a major mistake. I think we’ve all done that. Second marriage was great! awesome! and I destroyed it. Not intentionally, mind you. But I can sometimes be quite stupid. In other words, (human).

Discovery Set (#4-5)
In this two-part book, the Tramps are asked to deliver 200 barrels of lubricants for Bella’s Port where Cephalon McGee runs a smelting refinery. As a side note, Rand and his crew are also asked to look for a missing freighter crew. What they find instead is a heinous act of human trafficking that later pits them between a rock and a hard spot.
The alien artifact from a Reticulan spacecraft is discovered to be a Dimensional Generator. With the help of Cephalon and his technicians, ‘Lady Luck’ is completely refit into a machine of stealth and versatility. But soon, Aaron Chun discovers that all the technology in the galaxy doesn’t come close to matching the human spirit.
First Missions Set (#6-8)
The Tramps Take on extra charitable work as they scour the Free Space area outside of the Republic and Coalition. Their mission: Find the missing children and young adults, sold out of Paradise.
In this three part series, Serena alone must rescue Sara; and while doing so, Serena has a bit of a rendezvous of her own.
The Tramps in Lady Luck encounter a Heavy Battle Carrier. Hearthbard, an agro planet, being lightly defended with little more than a Coalition Frigate gets a bit of help from the ‘Lady’ that puts the small Battle Cutter in a precarious situation.
Then in part three, the Tramps make way for Republic territory, where they hope to intercept a civilian freighter. Hoping to steer clear of any Republican Security Force elements becomes impossible as they are greeted by soldiers as soon as they enter the small outpost.
