Unable to cope with losing Abrie to the Tempre, Malik makes it a point to find his old mentor. To do so, he has no choice but to join the tournament to become a warrior. Unable to let him go alone, Mollie saddles herself into his ploy. What started as a desperate attempt to destroy the Tempre and free Abrie, turns into something much more.
When the shadows start to appear, Malik at first thinks he has finally lost his marbles. As they continue, he realizes there is something more sinister ahead. With both the tournament and shadows haunting them, can Malik and Mollie do what they came to do, or will they be caught between two evils?
