Soon after, my world is tossed up again, confusing and frustrating me. This guy, a hooded man, forces me to play his “epic” game – to play his game of killing, otherwise he’ll kill even more people.
I wanna escape, but I have no choice – I can’t just let them die.
I know he’s playing me, manipulating me for some kind of end. He says it’s part of my “development.” And he’s right – I am developing. I’m beginning to do things no other human can do. Then, I begin to have visions. I see, in the future, cities engulfed in fiery blazes. I see the whole world burned to ashes.
But I fight away from it. I never wanted this! I don’t want to be part of this!
Someone told me once that God is asking me to take on a challenge, to take on a role he already planned out. “We all have our roles in life,” the guy says, and this is mine. There’s something wrong with this green-sky world, and I’m the one to fix it.
I wanna run away. What can God do with a recluse, with a flat-out drunk … a guy like me?
You ask me what’s my name? I can’t tell you my name. Sometimes I just don’t remember it. But something is burning a symbol on my left wrist – a circle within a circle. It’s the same one on the victims.
I don’t know how it’s happening.
