Overview: Luna Amaris is a mysterious fae woman who awakens to a world that is unknown to her. All she has are her nightmares of a queen and king being killed by King Lucius, which haunt her every night. She is a slave to the ruthless king, who claims that she was attacked brutally and lost all her memories and powers. He offers to help her regain everything she lost, but is met with anger each time she asks for help.
One night, a rogue Fae named Jay Ardor breaks into the tower where Luna is held captive, with the help of a rebel spy from inside the castle, and offers her a chance to escape. Luna seizes the opportunity and runs away from the castle with Jay, hoping that he can help her unlock her memories. The answer to Luna’s problem may lay at the Xarvian Root, the heart of all magic that has the goddess herself wove within it, but once they arrive Luna discovers curse from Shadow Magic is placed upon her very soul, preventing her memories and her powers from breaking free.
Luna must train day in and day out not only in combat, but to break the curse from within her without causing any harm to come to her. As her magic slowly comes back to her, so does the feeling of an unmistakable bond between her and Jay. On one night where the tension between the two of them finally snaps, everything comes back to Luna all at once and she finally learns who she really is.
Once Luna’s powers have returned and memories are restored, the group begins to plan the attack on the castle to retake the kingdom and dismantle King Lucius’ throne of lies.
