Three novels by Jacqueline George

Overview: Jacqueline writes romantic stories because she is an unrepentant romantic at heart. In a world that is drowning in poverty and violence, she tries to hold up a cheerful light and make everyone’s life a little happier. That is a big job, but it is fun to make the attempt and, who knows, it might just work. When she is not writing, she is kept busy by her garden which is still maturing. Right now her coconut trees look young and scrappy, but come back in five years and they will be towering over the house. And what could be more romantic than a coconut palm?
Genre: Menage romance, BDSM, ffm, mmf
Her Master’s Voice: Sherry is a lonely wife in Singapore, filling her days studying yoga under an Indian guru who loves women. The guru and her friend Ranji are helping her become the woman she secretly wanted to be, but there is a price to be paid for her new femininity. How will she admit to her husband what she and Ranji have been doing? But he finds out and she is trapped on a tropical island, alone with the man she has wronged. He has other worries; he has been targeted by Islamic terrorists. Soon Sherry and her friends from Singapore and Indonesia are fighting for his life with all determination and feminine charm they can manage.
Light O’Love: When Shirley arrives at the Institute, she thinks she will be studying Politics. But the Institute has a sterner purpose, the study of Witchcraft. Gradually, Shirley is introduced to the practice and history of the Craft. She has a talent for mind control and for romance, and is given her witch’s name, Light o’Love. She is shown the sights of Liverpool by the brilliant, austere Rostov and taken back to his den. He is one of her lecturers. The others are more friendly and cherish her and her growing powers. She surprises them all by breaking two of the Dark Light’s "toys"–automata sent to monitor the Institute. Shirley is the center of attention from witches and from the Dark Light. Through her efforts, Rostov is revealed as a spy and he is driven into exile. He can only win back his masters’ approval by presenting them with the cause of their trouble: sacrificing Light o’Love herself.
The Prince and the Nun: It is war time and Sister Therese is torn between her vows and the people she loves. She is trying to keep the handsome Prince Mefist at arm’s length and at the same time protecting her friends. Villagers, partisans, refugees, and Jews all come to her for help and she cannot refuse. Only by cooperating with the Prince can she and the sisters survive. And if that means running a bordello for the Army officers, then that is what she will do. But it is not easy to resist Mefist, and as the two of them struggle to hold back a violent world, he becomes a friend and more.
