Overview: I live in Toronto, Ontario with my partner and our cats. My main interests: writing, reading, gaming, TV and movies, software development, learning.
I write science fiction, fantasy, and mystery stories featuring strong female main characters. By strong, I don’t mean a woman who lifts 200 pounds at the gym and kicks people’s asses (though she might). I mean that the female character is central to the story. It’s her story. She’s not there to support someone else.
I write stories that are character focused. I love a good plot, but if the characters are flat or boring, the plot can be fantastic and I still won’t get into the story. Exception: Sometimes I’m just in the mood for car chases and gun fights with the usual generic action hero.

Threaded Through Time Book One
That described Pam. She’d always felt that she’d been born too late—there was no chivalry in the world anymore.
She’d only wanted to commune with the universe while reading a “moon rhyme” in the antique book she’d purchased from the local New Age shop. She had not expected guests—especially not Jasper and Margaret, summoned one hundred years into the future by the rhyme just as Jasper was proposing to Margaret.
Now the displaced visitors insist that they be returned to 1910, and Pam and her roommate Robin agree. But the rhyme won’t work until the next moon cycle, and in the intervening month, forbidden love blooms between Pam and Jasper, and Robin and Margaret.

Picking up where Book One left off: Two time travellers are determined to embrace new lives, but reality soon dampens their starry-eyed enthusiasm. One time traveller vows not to give up; the other reaches for the black rhyme book. Both struggle with doubts. Were they truly born before or after their time? Will love conquer all?
