Overview: David Spell is a retired police Lieutenant from the Gwinnett County Police Department, just outside of Atlanta. He was a police officer for almost 30 years and held a number of different jobs within the department. One of his last positions was in the Crime Suppression Unit. David and his squad tracked down and apprehended Armed Robbery suspects, gang members, and other violent fugitives. In his other life Dr. David Spell was part of the leadership team at the C3 Church near Atlanta. He has been involved in various types of Christian ministry since 1980. He and his wife, Annie, spent a year in Ghana, West Africa in 1983. They have also been a part of numerous short-term mission trips all over the world, training leaders and assisting in various humanitarian efforts.
