The Xidoran Prophecy (#1) Charles Brookfield knew he loved Caroline Saunders from the moment he laid eyes on her at her grandparent’s Fourth of July picnic. She was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. She was the only girl he knew that would be brave enough to pick up a squirming worm. From that moment on Caroline was the only girl for him, but he wasn’t certain she felt the same way about him after a misfortunate incident. If their grandparents can figure out a way to get the two of them back together again will they be able to work things out and start over?
After Charles’ fifteenth birthday party his life is forever changed when he is asked to spend the night at his grandparent’s house. He discovers that life on their farm is not what he had always thought it was when his grandparent’s ask him if he can keep a mysterious and deadly secret that has been hidden in their family for generations. If Charles decides that he can keep their secret, then he will be forced to keep it hidden from not only the world but also the rest of his family for their own good. He is made to realize that knowing the truth will mean that he will have to adapt quickly to a new way of life or fail. Along the way he will have to face many challenges and life lessons as he figures out how to reconcile his old life with his new one. Discovering the past means that he will have to decide for himself if the secrets from their past are better left forgotten or not?
Return of the Clonsayee (#2) Charles Brookfield was granted an opportunity of a lifetime by the Sojourner government.
He now spends his high school years on the Jones’ farm as an ordinary teen by helping out, doing chores and exploring the farm.
One day while doing chores, Charles overhears his grandfather mention that ancient artifacts have recently been discovered near an area that overlooks their property. He decides to take Caroline on an adventure to investigate the dig site.
While the couple is observing the excavation, a sacred stone sculpture is unearthed. Charles recognizes the mysterious object as an image that he has seen before depicted on the walls of a cave that is located nearby.
Two years before the excavation, Charles and his friend Pete had spelunked with his grandfather and Pete’s father in that particular cave. At that time his grandfather commented that the drawings happened to be the reason his family originally purchased the farmland. To Carson’s knowledge the cave had never been explored past a certain point for reasons unexplained to him. Charles remembered an incident in particular that happened the last time they were at that juncture. His grandfather mentioned several old legends that were handed down about strange occurrences that had taken place in the caves.
Now that Charles has made a connection between the sculpture and the cave, something is telling him that maybe it’s time they return to the source. The figure has piqued Charles’ curiosity and now he must decide if it might be worth reinvestigating and going deeper into the cave. He wants to know if the mystery of the carved stone can be solved in order to determine its historical connection to the farm. He considers asking his grandfather if they should push forward, exploring deeper into the cave in order to discover what lies beyond the huge columns where the stalactites and stalagmites join together.
In his spare time, Charles continues to travel between two worlds to learn more about the politics on the planet Bridgeiro and what the past has to do with his remarkable destiny. After one of his visits to Bridgeiro, a priceless gift that had at one time belonged to his family is returned.
Unbeknownst to Charles, he must now discover what this gift has to do with Xidoran’s Prophecy and the Jones’ farm.
Ruvinsphere (#3) After graduating from high school, Charles Brookfield attends the mysterious Brahmsley University. His college roommate, Josh Van der Heijden, introduces him to a fast-paced Sojourner sport that intrigues Charles from the moment he observes the senior team playing the unusual game. Ruvinsphere is a strategic sport played on a multi-level battlefield. Half of the teams’ players utilize specialized flying disks that are designed to fly at incredible speeds and yet take punishment from the opposing players. In order to win, the players must be as creative as their imaginations will allow and be able to endure the physical demands of the game.
Playing the game, learning about teamwork and continuing to discover more about the universe while attending Brahmsley University helps Charles learn some very important life lessons that will be beneficial to him in his quest to complete his apprenticeship for the job of prime minister of Bridgeiro.
Bridgeiro (#4) There hasn’t been a prime minister in the history of Bridgeiro that has ever served in the military. Charles Brookfield is determined to be the first to serve and protect Sojourners and their interests while on his quest to become the next prime minister of Bridgeiro. After being enlisted into the military he discovers that he will be required to lead a unit of well-trained soldiers on dangerous missions throughout the universe. Charles and his unit must successfully complete each of their assignments in order for him to climb the ranks within the military.
Once Charles reports for duty he discovers that the military operations that he we will be sent on will take place within a ruthless simulator called Sinomicron. He discovers that Sinomicron is no ordinary simulator. The simulator is utilized as a war tool in which Bridgeiro’s military can learn more in depth about the human decision making process. In doing so the simulator constantly learns how to affect the outcome of future military operations so that the odds of winning a war will be in their military’s favor. In order for the simulator to gather the necessary knowledge it requires it can also choose to send Charles and his unit on a real missions that are in need of assistance within the cosmos.
Charles and his unit of soldiers are sent into hostile situations within the universe that other officers before them have failed to complete. While being placed in these dangerous situations Charles must rely on his intuition in order to lead his men to the triumphant completion of each operation. As he concludes each objective he learns more about himself and the life skills that will be necessary in order to be successful as the next prime minister of Bridgeiro.
