In Water Territory, there is no rest for Luca, his family, or those like him. Working long, grueling hours and enduring harsh punishments from their leaders, they are forced to live in poverty. The select few who enjoy living a life of luxury flaunt their great wealth and power for other territories to see, turning a blind eye to all those suffering on Natura.
When the Shaman arrives with the shocking news that Natura is dying, Luca is one of eight people chosen to embark on a quest to save their home. Eager to help save Natura, he hopes he can also make those outside of Water aware of what life for them is really like. But when Luca sees who he has been paired with from his own territory, he wonders if the entire quest is futile.
Annabelle, the spoiled daughter of Water’s leader, is far from pleased to be chosen. How can she possibly leave her glamorous life and trek through dangerous lands with someone like Luca?
As the pair face the huge task ahead, will the divide between two members of the same territory put all of Natura in danger?
