1. Awakening

As I push the witchbeast to its limits and freedom draws nearer, I’m forced to do things that may alter my life forever—and the worst is yet to come.
3. Blood Cleric
A new blood cleric—AKA necromancer—is on the rise and somehow I’m telepathically connected to his heinous crimes. Can we figure out who’s controlling him before he goes too far?
I’m back with my friends and soulmate after being kidnapped by the Silvertine Coven, but it seems like we’re doomed to never have more than one quiet moment at a time. Soon after finding out who my real parents were and that I’m an heir to their vast estate, one thing becomes clear: A nefarious plot to bring back long-dead criminals is underway, involving the powerful necromancer of our day, who is somehow being controlled by a dark force.
Worse, the apparent ringleader of the plot is a sizzling-hot businessman who has T.O.M.A.S. and the United Districts wrapped around his finger… and he’s using all of his considerable charm to try to wrap me around it too.
Resisting him comes at cost, though. When his thugs come for me, will I be able to protect my loved ones, or will they get dragged into the nightmare with me?
4. Frostfall
Frostfall—the third level of death. I’m pretty sure my parents are waiting for me to find them there. But before I can try to find them, I must answer to the world for the murders I committed; one assassination in particular. Global leaders have offered me a commuted sentence that comes with one huge catch: I’ll be staying in the most notorious maximum-security prison in existence for magicals and supernaturals. I’m worried that I might not survive my stay at the infamous Skullgotha Prison, where abusive guards don’t care in the least what prisoners do to each other. Witchbeast or not, my odds don’t look too good.
At the same time, I have to train before I can walk in death. If I want to retrieve my message and survive not just one, but three levels of death, I need as much training as possible. As the necromancer keeps reminding me, death was not intended for the living. Thankfully my old friend Apollonia, the original witchbeast, is happy to help from her realm.
No amount of training can prepare me for the surprises and horrors lurking in death, though. And even if I do survive walking in it, will I find my parents and have the reunion my heart has always ached for?
