Lovers and Liars (#3)
Daniel arrives at the prison with Heaton and their new partner only to discover that Cori, Ethan’s wife, has been embedded in a transmorph for nearly six weeks. Daniel reveals to Ethan his ability to incinerate matter with a single look. Although, the shocking power can help him remove Cori from her morphing captor, it is dangerous for both him and her. Nonetheless, Daniel is determined to help his friend at any cost.
Revealing so much of himself so fast, puts Daniel in a strange position of honesty with his new partner Nevia Jordan. Though the petite, pixy-cut brunette seems fragile and unworthy of a hunter’s position, she has a special power of her own. The gun toting former FBI agent has a nose for tracking transmorphs. Literally. Her talent for sniffing out the creatures also extends to detecting emotions. Daniel quickly realizes that he couldn’t keep a secret from her if he tried.
Despite his first impressions of the woman, Daniel finds himself uncontrollably drawn to the taciturn woman. Conversely, her interest in him is purely physical, and only temporary. This karmic turn of tables leaves Daniel baffled with how to proceed. He might be able to save the damsel in distress, but this hero isn’t going to get the girl.

Bad Blood (#4)
ori’s not happy about Ethan leaving the prison without her. Especially, since he is leaving to help her self-appointed archenemy, Leona. Although the female werewolf is sickeningly sweet to her, she knows that her ultimate goal will be to seduce her husband.
As if that isn’t enough to put a damper on her week, her consciousness is thrown into a time schism courtesy of Efrat’s electrical greeting. She discovers that Belus is going to be shot later that day and attempts to get help from Danato. However, with each dizzying time jump, she has to start over, and his assistance becomes increasingly less helpful.
With no one else to rely on, she is forced to recruit Efrat to help save Belus. A feat that puts her in direct opposition with Danato and the rules of his prison.

Tenants and Tyrants (#5)
It’s a full house at the prison. Daniel’s team arrives, escorting Annette, an earth witch seeking dragon’s blood. The Council of the Moon also pays them a visit to put the werewolf, Callin, on trial. Not to mention, Danato’s surprise guests.
Daniel continues to pressure Nevia for a relationship, while her interest in him remains, platonically and tenaciously, invested in his unusual power. Heaton is at odds with both of them, but even Nevia can’t figure out why, since he has veiled himself in cigarette smoke.
Danato gives Cori a surprise evening of live music and merriment, but she can’t resist using the festivities as an opportunity to search for the lock that fits her key. Enlightened by new information on the elementals, Cori isn’t sure who to trust in regards to their unlawful imprisonment.
Proper procedure is thrown out the window, when she discovers that one of their party guests plans to murder the elemental Hirem. In an effort to save lives, Cori stumbles into General Clark’s clutches. With her life in the balance, as well as the other elementals, Cori has to choose between, keeling to Clark’s homicidal blackmail or breaking every rule in the book.

The Ring Bearer (#6)
While Cori is locked away in the prison, Danato and Belus negotiate with Clark for her release. As her lies and deceptions are further revealed, everyone is put at odds, accusing each other of the fault in her actions.
The werewolf trial must continue regardless of the circumstances. Daniel, Heaton, and Nevia are put in charge of monitoring it. The reason for Nevia’s education on werewolves comes to light, but her enthusiasm for the outcome of the trial is making Daniel and Heaton uncomfortable.
When the lights go out and Cori turns up missing, the evidence points to Efrat. While searching for her, Daniel and Nevia have a run in with Frederique, head of the werewolf council. Fortunately, Callin is available to offer a fair fight. And when that doesn’t keep her from trying to kill Nevia, Daniel takes the fair out of the fight.
Cori finds herself inside Cleos’s mind at a dinner party she was never supposed to be invited to. When she returns to the real world, she still has Efrat, Clark, and eventually Danato to deal with. It won’t be long, but eventually things will go back to normal.

Gods and Monsters (#7)
Cori’s completed wish pack has sent her back to her new normal outside the prison. Although she is elated to see her mother alive, and tell her about her life, she knows she can’t go home again. Things have to go back to the way they were.
She returns to the prison to get help from her adoptive family, but no one remembers her. Convincing Ethan, Danato, Belus, and their current employee of the month Gypsy, that she isn’t trying to highjack the power of a genie for her own purposes, proves to be difficult.
Her own husband is blind and indifferent to her pain, Danato is committed to protecting the prison instead of her, Belus is beyond distrustful of her familiar face, and Gypsy is annoyed by her attempt to usurp her position.
After Cori convinces everyone that she has indeed been displaced, she then has to negotiate with the demi-god genie to release her from her wish reality. Sacrifices will have to be made once she returns to her own reality.
Cori is willing to do whatever it takes to get back to her family. Unfortunately, Gypsy is willing to do what it takes to stop her, including murder.

Beasts and Burdens (#8)
One terrifying drop in an elevator is enough to put Cori on edge, but she quickly forgets such trivial things as attempted murder when she finds out her husband is going to China only a month away from her due date. No one is happy with the mandate, but since Annette is a longtime friend of Danato’s, he is obligated to let her explore Ethan’s alleged conversation with the dragon.
After Ethan leaves, Cori has another attempt on her life in the form of her house trying to burn her alive. Since, she can no longer classify two incidents as the beginning of a bad week, she wants to find out why she is being targeted. She suspects that Danato knows more than he is admitting too, and she finally demands to know the truth. The whole truth.
After Cori knows everything, they devise a plan to communicate with the house and discourage its plot to kill Cori. They successfully convince the house entity that Cori is not to be harmed, but it only changes its tactics to possession. The vacancy left in her mind from the unfortunate incident with Cleos, has left her vulnerable to mental invasion. However, with her unconscious in Cleos’s mind, she has the ultimate ally to knock the invading presence down a peg…or ten.
Still concerned for her mental resistance, Danato insists on sending her away until the house forgets what has transpired. Belus demands that she be placed in Daniel McGrath’s care. Cori isn’t pleased that she is being sent away, and even less pleased about her designated caretaker.
Daniel’s girl trouble just got doubled. He was more than happy to do the favor for his employers, but it probably wasn`t the best timing. A simple outing with his dates, turns into an opportunity for Frederique to exact revenge on Daniel, Nevia, and even Ethan, via his wife.
A back alley death match forces him to flaunt his powers. The impromptu battle also introduces him to a strange new key player in the werewolf coup. Luckily she is on his side—assuming he could really claim a side. He is more than happy to have her help, but Cori is very put off by the woman she has already nicknamed Gypsy.
Daniel heads to Ireland to hideout at his mother`s home. Maggie is pleased to meet Daniel’s girlfriend, until he reveals that Nevia is in fact the girlfriend, not Cori. Make that girl trouble times three.
Unfettered by her previous experience with Daniel, Frederique shows up at the farm with a broken and bruised Heaton as her bait to lure Daniel out for a “fair” fight. Cori is certain that with her rings, Daniels special skills, and Nevia’s aim, they can beat the attacking werewolves again. Of course that’s assuming she isn’t cursed with a minor inconvenience that sends her into early labor.
And of course there’s the whole thing with the dragons…
