Overview: Ava is the Princess of Doves but before the great war, she was the Princess of the Sky. Now the adopted daughter of the King and Queen of Doves she is promised to the Prince of Coyotes in return for a pact to reunite the factions. On her way to her wedding, she is kidnapped by the Kingdom of Crows whose tall, raven-haired King is instantly taken by her.
She is released even though her parents and intended both refuse to pay her ransom. This leads them to believe that she’s been tainted by the Crow King and is unfit to wed a Prince.
Ava realizes that her life to this point has been predicated on a lie. She is brutalized, ostracised, and treated like a burden. Still, she has a burning desire to be back with the King of Crows who is also not who he seems.
Their union will change the course of history and bring war back to the factions.
