Overview: Originally from West Virginia, Joyce Serrano now lives in Ladson, South Carolina, where summers are too hot for her taste, and she misses the uniqueness of changing seasons. Well-traveled and tragically widowed, Joyce was inspired to write her first novel after binge-watching superhero movies and supernatural creature television shows during a hurricane lockdown. As supposed enemies become allies, interplanetary options arise, and her true origin is revealed, Grace strives to determine who she can trust and how far she is willing to go to save a universe by which she was previously forsaken.

It was the type of cold that sunk into your bones.
Deep darkness shielded ancient footings squirming with night creatures. Climbing the slope brought into view the bridge, emanating its own eerie glow and hanging by a single thread, as if physics held no influence there.
The turned had discovered a whole new perspective on life away from earth. Along with it, a whole new dilemma as well.
The expansion of the new race had its challenges. Not every species was pleased with their spread. But Grace and Ivan had embraced their purpose, and those who tried to stand in their way wouldn’t have an easy run.
