Overview: There are three accomplishments that I am proud to take credit for in my life. My family, my medical career, and my writings. They are in, I’m certain, their proper order. My family includes my perfect wife Karen, my wonderful children Chris and Kim, and the best grandson there is, Jonathan. They, along with my salukis, combine to give me strength, meaning, and love. What humbling gifts. I include in my family, also, all those near and dear to me (you know who you are).

#2 – Ryan’s Phantoms
Jon Ryan is desperate to fix the time line destroyed by the no-timing of Earth. And a desperate Jon is a very dangerous force of nature. A few years earlier, the evil clan destroyed Earth. Jon and his team labored mightily to resurrect our lost civilization. But once they achieved that impossibility, Jon grew more and more obsessed with restoring Earth’s original time line. He wants to give rebirth to his original life story, his history. In spite of pleas to the contrary by his friends, he was hellbent on achieving his unproven goal.

Jon has finally secured a timeship to use and has enlisted the help of his old partner in time, Plesmus. Her reluctance notwithstanding, she is determined to protect her friend. But no sooner had their quest began when everything went sideways. Every intervention they tried backfired so badly that a normal man would run away. However, no one has ever accused Jon Ryan of being normal — far from it. When he spies trouble he doubles-down.

Along with recurring battles with the mysterious and ruthless Void Phantoms, Jon inexplicable runs into old acquaintances. Even Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States, isn’t immune from Jon’s dubious mission. As Jon bounces back-and-forth in time, his wonky timeship, Rift Dude, does little to ease the stress. But know that nothing — but nothing — ever slows Jon.

Meanwhile, back at home, Sachiko is facing a growing effort on the part of dark governmental forces to separate her from her command of the mighty timeship Aramthella. Does she have the cunning and the chops to defend her captaincy, or will nefarious elements from Earth prove to spiteful to resist? It’s time for her to prove her mettle or step aside.

Come and be swept away in the adventure that it the Ryanverse!

#3 – Ryan’s Enigma
Jon’s growing concern with what he sees as a corrupted time line are beginning to look like an obsession. Yeah, those never end well. Every attempt he tries to repair Earth’s post-resurrection time line only make time/space worse. The impossible and the hazardous are happening everywhere in the universe. Not only that, but they are occurring with ever-increasing frequency and bone-chilling severity. Even Jon’s minor tweaks to past events backfire with a intensity that would give pause to a normal person. But not Jon Ryan! The man’s relentless.

And the dark empire of the Timeless Void is fairing no better. The queen of the Void has committed her queendom to what is clearly an obsessional desire to harm Jon over all time. Even as time paradoxes begin to systematically dismantle her realm, Queen Loopi-goah’s anger and irrationality only build. Nothing will stop her from having her eternal revenge on the defiler who killed her sweet daughter. And there is no one, no force, that can even slow the queen’s mad descent into destruction.

Meanwhile, Sapale, Sachiko, and the crew of Aramthella are lost in a bizarre house-of-mirror existence. They don’t know where they are or why they are wherever they are. And despite all their best efforts, they can’t contact Jon and they can’t return home. If that wasn’t bad enough, a growing cabal of power brokers in the government are upping the stakes in their quest to tear control of the time ship Aramthella away from Sachiko. Her mentor and ally Tank is intentionally sidelined by those same dark forces. Now Sachiko is forced to fend off singlehandedly a foe that refuses to lose.

Can time survive Jon’s well-intentioned but destructive machinations? Will the Void queen destroy her own people? Will Aramthella ever sail home to safety? And, most of all, how can you read this blurb and not just grab the book and tear into it like right now, immediately!

#4 – Ryan’s Undoing
Guess who’s may just need to end time? You got it! Jon Ryan may be forced to cancel, terminate, and definitively end time itself everywhere. Why is Jon straying in that direction? Well he wanted to fix the timeline. After the Clan no-timed Earth and Jon resurrected it, he was stressed that the new future would void out the very future that gave us our hero, Jon. So he did his best to fix the timeline according to how he thought it should be.

You know how when you do something and it doesn’t turn out well at all and somebody asks you how it went and you don’t want to lie but you don’t want to tell them either? Yeah, that’s kind of how it’s going with Jon and his timeline repair job. He’s changed time, but, like monkey’s paw magic, the results are not what he desired. Now, impossible, explainable, and undesirable events are happening all over universe. Jon is beginning to lose faith in his plan. By the way, everyone else did long ago.

As reality dwindles, can Jon reverse his run of bad luck, or will he just make existence worse? The only way to find out is to read Ryan’s Undoing, Book 4 of the Timeless Void. All your questions will be answered. Now we just need to find out if Jon will like those answers. Yikes! Better read this one sitting down.
