Star Wars was the anthem of my childhood and it fostered a fascination with worlds and ideas beyond my own life. He quickly finds out he’s not alone, but it’s impossible to tell artificial reality from human, and who is trying to help him, and who is trying to keep him from getting out.
Alfred must rely on his wits and join forces with a mysterious hacker whose motives remain shrouded in secrecy, but he’ll do whatever it takes to escape.
He uncovers a truth that was supposed to remain secret about the very people he had trusted with his life. Every revelation peels back another layer of deception.
Will he get his body back, or will be trapped in this virtual world forever?

Alfred has come to terms with his new reality, but trouble is looming on the horizon. The world now knows about virtual reality, but there are some who feel threatened by their capabilities. There is a movement to eliminate VR, digital beings, and artificial intelligence altogether.
The director of SynTech, who created synthetic bodies and digitized minds, wants to help find a solution, but it disturbs the plans of a formidable enemy. With the interchangeable nature of synthetic bodies and digitized minds, impersonating others becomes a possibility.
Alfred and his friends find themselves on the run to the one place a digitized mind should never go—off grid. While Alfred might not be detected, he also might not survive.
