Overview: Fox was raised in the north-east of England in the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. She attended Durham University, where she gained a Ba (hons) in Education. After university Fox moved to Cambridge where she taught mathematics and science for eight years. During this time she met her partner, adopted a golden Labrador (Charlie) and moved to Essex. Fox finally settled in the west of Ireland where she has lived for the past few years.

1. Island Skye
Skye Donaghie is having the worst day; she gets stranded twenty feet above the North Sea, her girlfriend dumps her and her neighbour is run over by her car – whilst fishing.

However, in the eye of the storm and whilst navigating the obstacles that are hurled in their path, Natalie and Skye both start to realise that no matter what mistakes they make, no matter what nightmares lie in store, and no matter how daunting the challenges that need to be tackled are, so long as they face their fears together they will have the strength to survive anything life throws at them.
And ultimately they learn that love isn’t a destination, it’s a journey.
